OFFENSE: C
QB C- Wasn't one of his better days. Too many audibles to change plays to pass plays. Was worried about the blitz way to much for the 1st 3 quarters. 33/49 253 2TDs 1 INT( Not his fault). Way too many attempts. RB. A Still won't get to 25 carries When they finally decided to allow Warren to do his thing, he delivered as usual. He again was dynamic in both the run game and the pass game Dowdle was also really good in this game. 7 carries for 40 yards. He ran hard with great vision WR A+ Germie Bernard had another great game. 11 for 87 1TD DK came on as the game went on 11 for 93 Darnell had 4 for 25 and aa TD Muth was hurt and it showed. but he gutted it out. Oline C- I'm always going to be harder on these guys than most But I thought this was a mixed bag. The sacks given up werent an issue of stunts and twist like so many have been this year. It was just getting beat physically which is alarming. Troy was pathetic in this game.Don't know if he is hurt or what. But he has been a problem McCormick was just ok. One of the sacks he totally whiffed on. Rodgers couldn't step up when outside pressure came. Zach again was very good. Hoffman is what he is. Good in the run game. Struggles in pass protection with movement Max struggled in this one. no way around it. Offense C 26 points. 300 total yards. 38:36 time of possession. 5-15 on 3rd down They came out flat. Play calling and game plan was atrocious. Another refusal to run the ball. But, we it was winning time, the offense t urned t on.
DEFENSE: A
Dline- A Nick Herbig was unlocked in this football game with 2 sacks. We need more pass rush attempts from him. TJ and Alex just can't get a holding call. Both combined for 9 pressures Yaya got his 1st sack. Benton was a monster in this game. So was Cam. Big bounce back against the run for Cam in this game. They all had a had in shutting down the Bucs run game. LBs- B+ Its a mixed bag Payton Wilson was a monster in this game. 11 tackles 7 solo. I still don't like him in zone coverage but thats a schematics thing. Patrick Queen. I'm done. 3 tackles. 1 solo Literally had no impact. You didn't even notice if he was out there for long stretches. DBs- A Lets get out the bad. They picked on Daylen Everett early. Miscommunications between Ramsey and ASJ led to an easy touchdown OK. Now lets talked about Jalen Ramsey. 10 tackles. 9 solo. 4 TFL 2 sacks including the game winner. DId it all with a broken wrist Incredible effort Jamel Dean was also phenomenal. 4 tackles. 2 solo. 6 PD and 1 INT that should have been the game winner. DEFENSE- A 19 points. 224 total yards. 5 sacks. 2 forced turnovers. They kept the Steelers in the football game until the offense finally woke up.
Special Teams: D+
Boz again missed a kick. However, he made a 52 yarder at the end of the half and had to make two 58 yarders to tie the game late in the 4th. Wetjen was MUCH better in this game. It wasn't him. It was the return units. To many damn penalties. One wiped out a 50 yard return
Coaching: D
The Offensive game plan was putrid. The time management almost cost us a win. Defensively, I didn't understand the rotation early with Dean not playing. Still to much Zone
OVERALL: C
The Bucs are not a good team. I tried to excuse that away. My bad. They aren't good and we didn't play well. But we found a way to win.We were really good when we had to be good.
