Accounts and content

When you create an account, we store the email address and display name (tagname) you provide. As you use the app, we also store content you submit, including article comments, chat messages and reactions, article submissions and edits, writer profile details, and any Major Props predictions you enter. This content is associated with your account so we can display it and, where relevant, attribute it to you.

Usage and device data

We collect basic technical and usage information to operate and improve the app. This includes the pages or articles you view, approximate device and browser details, and standard analytics that help us understand which content resonates. To count unique readers without requiring you to sign in, we assign a random identifier stored locally in your browser. We do not use this to identify you personally.

Connected services

The app integrates with third-party services to surface content and features. These include YouTube (for show episodes and membership information), Google services such as Drive and Sheets, and Todoist. When you connect a service, we receive only the data the connection is authorized to share, and we use it to display the relevant content or run the related feature. The services are governed by their own privacy policies, and your use of them is subject to those terms.

How We Use Information

• To display articles, episodes, comments, chat, and the community features you interact with.
• To attribute your submissions and keep your profile and content connected to your account.
• To measure and improve content, including understanding which articles and shows are most read.
• To operate the Major Props game, including scoring picks and showing leaderboards.
• To send service-related messages, such as account verification or important updates, where applicable.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your information. Content you post publicly, such as comments and chat messages, is visible to other users. Aggregated or de-identified information may be used for analysis. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or integrity of the app and its users.

Your Choices

You can edit your profile details at any time. You may delete content you own, such as your comments or chat messages, through the app. You can disconnect a linked service from your account settings on that service. Data Retention and Security

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
