Following Pittsburgh's 27-6 win over the Browns, here are three things I think and three things I know as the team sits in its bye week.

I THINK the bye week comes at a bad time.

A bye week is always good to rest up and get healthy, but the Steelers are on a roll right now. This team is playing winning football. When you are hot, you want to keep playing — not take a week off. We will see if the fire stays lit coming out of the bye at Cincinnati, but it’d be nice to just keep the momentum rolling right now. Instead, it could get halted during the bye.

I THINK trading for a wideout would go a long way.

You guys have seen DK Metcalf, right? Germie Bernard has shown flashes, but the consistency hasn’t always been there. The injuries to Michael Pittman and Roman Wilson are unfortunate, but such is life. The ground game is almost unstoppable — if the passing attack added another weapon, it’s not crazy to say you could be looking at one of the league’s better offenses.

I THINK Baltimore and Cleveland are toast.

On Sunday, we saw who the Browns really are. They showed no fight, and after a 5-2 start, the regression to the mean is coming. Cleveland’s stock is dropping and will continue to plummet. As for Baltimore, no Lamar Jackson and no Tyler Huntley tell you all you need to know. The rest of the roster can be great — if you don’t have a competent QB, you’re toast in the NFL. The AFC North looks like it's going to be between the Steelers and Bengals.

I KNOW the Steelers need to play with that same level of intensity moving forward.

Sunday was tremendous in terms of the energy, juice and effort. During this winning streak, the Steelers have done a solid job in this regard. But this needs to become the standard. If these guys play like that on a consistent basis, hard work can beat talent when talent doesn’t work hard.

I KNOW the Browns are a little brother.

The Browns is the Browns! Renegade wasn't even played on Sunday.

I KNOW the Steelers need to commit to the ground game near the goal line.

Don’t worry, folks, maybe one of these days that DK Metcalf fade ball in the end zone will work out! It never works, but don’t worry! OK. In all seriousness, there is really no reason for Pittsburgh to be throwing the ball in some of these goal line situations. Just run the ball. Do not overcomplicate things.
